XR CITY LABは、新たにCybernetics Labプロジェクトを立ち上げ、研究領域をより深層のアーキテクチャへと移行しました。XR CITY LABでは、「XR」＝「仮想層（電子化された情報・意味）× 現実層（リアル都市空間）」して定義し、都市のコモンズの再生を探求してきました。今回、さらにその「コモンズ」を駆動する「OS層」のデザインへと抽象度を引き上げます。AIやブロックチェーンといった仮想レイヤーの構造転換は、より本質的な社会のパラダイムの更新を生み出します。
XR CITY LAB has launched a new project, Cyberetics Lab, shifting its research area to deeper architecture. At XR CITY LAB, we defined "XR" as "Virtual Layer (Digitized Information/Meaning) x Reality Layer (Real Urban Space)," and have been exploring the regeneration of urban commons. Now, we are raising the level of abstraction even further to designing the "OS Layer" that drives these "commons." Structural transformations in virtual layers such as AI and blockchain will lead to a more fundamental update of the social paradigm.

The mechanistic economic systems of the time since Descartes, and the debt-currency system based on the premise of unlimited growth, are now reaching their structural limits, leading to social rigidity and collapse. Based on Yukhoi's "Cosmotechnics" and the principles of cybernetics, Cybanetics Lab gains insight into and designs society not as a controlled machine, but as an organic "living system." By implementing the functions of life such as "recursion," "contingency," and "self-organization" into cities, we will build a sustainable and autonomous ecosystem model.

As an approach to social implementation, we propose a vision to shift the destination of capital accumulation from the financial sector to local "social relational capital" and "cultural capital" by utilizing algorithms for regional stablecoins and depreciating currencies (Geser currencies). As cybernetic architects, Cybanetics Lab will implement next-generation commons based on life principles into society and lead the "Third Renaissance" in which technology and life, economy and culture are integrated.
