XR CITY LABは、新たにCosmotechnics Labプロジェクトを立ち上げ、研究領域をより深層のアーキテクチャへと移行しました。XR CITY LABでは、「XR」＝「仮想層（電子化された情報・意味）× 現実層（リアル都市空間）」して定義し、都市のコモンズの再生を探求してきました。今回、さらにその「コモンズ」を駆動する「OS層」のアーキテクトデザインへと抽象度を引き上げます。
XR CITY LAB has launched a new project, Cosmotechnics Lab, shifting its research area to deeper architecture. At XR CITY LAB, we defined "XR" as "Virtual Layer (Digitized Information/Meaning) x Reality Layer (Real Urban Space)," and have been exploring the regeneration of urban commons. Now, we are raising the level of abstraction even further to the architectural design of the "OS Layer" that drives these "commons."
機械論から有機体論へ
デカルト以来の機械論的な経済システムや、無限成長を前提とした債務通貨システムは、現在その構造的な限界を迎え、社会の硬直化と破綻を招きつつあります。Cosmotechnics Labは、ユクホイの「再帰性と偶然性」や人工生命、サイバネティクスなど、社会を「生態系」として捉える有機体論を元に、持続可能な社会をデザインします。
The mechanistic economic systems that have been in place since Descartes, and the debt-currency system based on the premise of unlimited growth, are now reaching their structural limits, leading to societal rigidity and collapse. Cosmotechnics Lab designs a sustainable society based on organismic theory, which views society as an "ecosystem," drawing on Yukhoi's "reflexivity and contingency," artificial life, and cybernetics.

As one approach to social implementation, we propose a vision that uses regional stablecoins and algorithms for depreciating currencies (Gesel currency) to shift the focus of capital accumulation from the financial domain to regional "social capital" and "cultural capital." As a cosmotechnics architect, Cosmotechnics Lab will design the next generation of commons based on the principles of life and lead the "Third Renaissance" where technology and life, economy and culture are integrated.
