XR CITY LABは「ウェルビーイングな未来都市をXRで実装する」というビジョンを掲げ2022年12月に設立されました。近年、注目を集めるメタバース、Web3、DAOなどのテクノロジーの本質は中央集権型インターネット(web2.0)から、自立分散化（Conviviality）へのパラダイムシフト。グローバリズムからローカリズムへの潮流です。XR CITY LABでは、仮想通貨（地域DAO）、地域SNS、XRテクノロジーを活用して、コモンズ（地域共同体）を再生し、ウェルビーイングな未来都市を実現していきます。
XR CITY LAB was established in December 2022 with the vision of "implementing a wellbeing future city with XR. The essence of technologies such as Metaverse, Web3, and DAO that have been attracting attention in recent years is a paradigm shift from a centralized Internet (web2.0) to a more self-sustaining decentralized Internet (Conviviality). XR CITY LAB will utilize virtual currency (local DAO), local SNS, and XR technologies to revitalize the commons (local community) and realize a wellbeing future city.

Nobumichi Asai CEO / Creative Director
浅井宣通(Nobumichi Asai / CEO / 。東北大学理学部卒業。東京のCM制作会社PICS、デザインスタジオWOW incを経て、2021年12月、XR CITY LAB を創業。これまでクリエイティブディレクター、テクニカルディレクターとしてintel、ソニー、Honda、花王、Canon、SoftBank、SUBARU、三菱地所 etcなどの国内外の企業ブランディングを手掛ける。2021年、コロナ禍において東京より神戸市に移住し、XR CITY LABを起業。デザイン思考よりアート思考。クリエイティブ・ディレクターとしての本質思考により、普遍的でグローバルなサービス創造を目指している。メディアアーティストとしての側面を持ち、これまでレディーガガ(US)、ジェイコブ・コリアー(UK)などのグラミー賞アーティストとのコラボレーションなどで国内外で知られている。ベネチア国際映画祭Best of VR、文化庁メディア芸術祭受賞。VFX AWARD最優秀賞受賞。アルスエレクトロニカVFX部門受賞、Short of the year/Best of Experimental(Germany)受賞、Lion Film Festival(UK)/Best Experimental、Most Orijinal受賞など。
Graduated from Tohoku University, Faculty of Science. After working at PICS, a commercial production company in Tokyo, and WOW inc, a design studio, he founded XR CITY LAB in December 2021. He has worked as a creative director and technical director on numerous domestic and international corporate branding projects, including Intel, Sony, Honda, Kao, Canon, SoftBank, Subaru, Mitsubishi Estate, and others.In 2021, he moved from Tokyo to Kobe City to start XR CITY LAB in response to the Corona disaster. Art thinking rather than design thinking. As a creative director, he aims to create universal and global services through essential thinking.He is also a media artist and has collaborated with Grammy Award-winning artists such as Lady Gaga (US) and Jacob Collier (UK), and is known both in Japan and abroad. Winner of Best of VR at Venice International Film Festival, Japan Media Arts Festival, and Best VFX AWARD. Winner of the Ars Electronica VFX category, Short of the year/Best of Experimental (Germany), Lion Film Festival (UK)/Best Experimental, Most Orijinal, etc.
