XR CITY LABは「ウェルビーイングな未来都市をXRで実装する」というビジョンを掲げ2022年12月に設立されました。近年、注目を集めるWeb3、DAOなどのテクノロジーの本質は中央集権型インターネット(web2)から、自立分散化（web3）へのパラダイムシフト。XR CITY LABでは、地域仮想通貨、DAOを活用して、コモンズ（社会的共通資本）を再生し、ウェルビーイングな未来都市を実現していきます。
XR CITY LAB was established in December 2022 with the vision of "implementing a well-being-oriented future city with XR." In recent years, technologies such as Web3 and DAO have attracted attention, and the essence of these is a paradigm shift from a centralized internet (Web2) to an autonomous and decentralized internet (Web3). At XR CITY LAB, we will utilize local cryptocurrencies and DAOs to revitalize the commons (social common capital) and realize a well-being-oriented future city.

浅井宣通(Nobumichi Asai / CEO 。
東北大学理学部卒業。
未来都市研究者、データーサイエンティストとして大手デベロッパーや自治体の未来都市プロジェクトに従事。グローバリズムからナショナリズム、そしてローカリズムへというパラダイムシフトに着目。Web3テクノロジーによる自立分散化、コモンズの再生に取り組む。サイバネティクス、社会システム理論などの有機体論、金融史・思想史の文脈から未来の都市文明の創造について探求している。
未来都市研究者、データーサイエンティストとして大手デベロッパーや自治体の未来都市プロジェクトに従事。グローバリズムからナショナリズム、そしてローカリズムへというパラダイムシフトに着目。Web3テクノロジーによる自立分散化、コモンズの再生に取り組む。サイバネティクス、社会システム理論などの有機体論、金融史・思想史の文脈から未来の都市文明の創造について探求している。
一方、メディアアーティストとして、レディー・ガガ、ジェイコブ・コリアーなどグラミー賞アーティストとの国際的コラボレーション、ベネチア国際映画祭Best of VR、文化庁メディア芸術祭受賞など受賞。創造的、多元的視点から未来社会を洞察している。
Graduated from the Faculty of Science, Tohoku University.
As a researcher and planner, I have been involved in future urban projects for developers and other clients. I focus on the paradigm shift from globalism to nationalism and then to localism, towards autonomous decentralization. I am working on the revitalization of commons using blockchain, symbolized by regional cryptocurrencies. From the context of organismic theory such as cybernetics and social systems theory, as well as financial history and intellectual history, I explore the creation of next-generation regional civilizations.
Meanwhile, as a media artist, I have collaborated internationally with Grammy Award-winning artists such as Lady Gaga and Jacob Collier, and have received awards such as Best of VR at the Venice International Film Festival and the Japan Media Arts Festival. I offer insights into future society from a creative and multifaceted perspective.
